Terri Devine will soon be joining our community, and she brings something very special alongside her impressive resume. Terri's Whole Student philosophy is very much in the mold of the methodology you have grown to love and expect from Dunn and our outgoing director Liz Tyng. What has set our College Counseling office apart under Liz was her dedication to individualized support reflective of the school's mission of fulfilling all aspects of our students' potential. During our nationwide hiring search, it became clear that Terri is the embodiment of everything that has been built here at Dunn and is uniquely suited to continuing Liz's market-leading work. Terri has more than 25 years of experience in college counseling and college admissions, and she is returning to the Central Coast after serving as the Director of College Counseling at the Punahou School in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was a previous College Counseling Director at Villanova Preparatory in Ojai as well as at Francis Parker School in San Diego. She spent eight years in college admissions as the Director of Mainland Admission for Hawaii Pacific University. Highly decorated in the industry, Terri participated in several White House Convenings on Higher Education and led discussions on college access and college counseling during the Obama administration — working with professionals around the country to increase college readiness through Michelle Obama's "Reach Higher Initiative."
