LIMITED COMPETITION FOR IDeA NETWORKS OF BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH EXCELLENCE NOTICE: NOT-RR-04-010 (See NOT-RR-07-002 for amendment) National Center for Research Resources (NCRR) The National Center for Research Resources announces a limited competition for competitive new applications to develop networks of biomedical research excellence in IDeA states. The competition is restricted to only those institutions in the six states that currently hold an active Biomedical Research Infrastructure Networks award that was competed under the Request for Applications (RFA) number RR-01-005. The purpose of this new RFA is to augment and strengthen the state’s biomedical research capacity via support to expand and develop biomedical faculty research capability and enhance research infrastructure through support of a multi-disciplinary, thematic scientific focused network to allow them to more fully compete for research support from the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
