Our Sunday worship service is a time for us to come together as a community and lift up our voices in praise to God. We have a vibrant worship team that leads us in contemporary worship songs as well as traditional hymns. Our pastor delivers relevant, engaging messages that challenge us to grow in our faith.
Our Wednesday night Bible study is an opportunity for us to dive deeper into God's Word and explore its relevance in our daily lives. We have small group discussions where we can ask questions, share insights, and pray for one another.
Our Friday night youth group is a fun and safe place for teenagers to connect with one another and grow in their faith. We have games, snacks, music, and relevant teaching that helps them navigate the challenges of adolescence.
We believe that everyone has a unique purpose and calling in life, and we want to help you discover yours. That's why we offer a variety of ministries to meet the diverse needs of our community.
Our children's ministry provides a safe and nurturing environment for kids to learn about God's love. We have age-appropriate classes where they can engage in fun activities, sing songs, and learn Bible stories.
Our women's ministry is a place for women to connect with one another and grow in their faith. We have Bible studies, retreats, and events that encourage women to deepen their relationship with God and one another.
Our men's ministry is focused on helping men become the leaders God created them to be. We have Bible studies, accountability groups, and service opportunities that challenge men to grow in their faith and impact their families, workplaces, and communities.
We believe that God has called us to be His hands and feet in the world. That's why we support missionaries around the world who are sharing the gospel and meeting physical needs. We also participate in local outreach efforts such as food drives, homeless shelters, and community events.

The youth group at Lighthouse is offered to our teens as well as our community friends in grades 6-12. It stands as yet another foundation for our young people to enhance and grow their faith in Jesus Christ. We take the responsibility to raise our children for the Lord very seriously at LCBC. We provide fun, safe, Bible-based ministries for all of our children from newborns through teenagers. Our song service is a contemporary presentation of both modern worship songs and traditional hymns, woven throughout the service with spoken testimony, scripture reading and prayer. Home ›› Special Acts and Local Ordinances Tax Exemption: Lighthouse Community Baptist Church ORDINANCE RE: LIGHTHOUSE COMMUNITY BAPTIST CHURCH AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF STONINGTON, CONNECTICUT, PROVIDING FOR THE LIGHTHOUSE COMMUNITY BAPTIST CHURCH TO RECEIVE TAX EXEMPT STATUS AS OF THE DATE OF PURCHASE OF REAL PROPERTY. WHEREAS, the Town of Stonington recognizes the inherent good and benefits that non-profit organizations provide to the community and the citizens of the Town; and WHEREAS,the Town of Stonington recognizes the wealth of assistances that non-profit organizations provide to the citizens of the Town; and WHEREAS, the Town of Stonington desires to allow the Lighthouse Community Baptist Church to enjoy tax exempt status as of October 5, 2005, the date that said organization acquired real property within the Town; and WHEREAS, General Statute §12-81b provides that the Town of Stonington may pass an ordinance to accomplish this goal; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED BY THE LEGAL VOTERS OF THE TOWN OF STONINGTON IN LAWFUL TOWN MEETING DULY ASSEMBLED THAT: Section 1. Tax Exempt Status As Of The Date Of Acquisition. The propertytax exemption authorized by subsections (7) and (16), inclusive, of §12-81 of the Connecticut General Statutes, shall be effective as to the Lighthouse Community Baptist Church as of the date of acquisition of the property, being October 5, 2005, for property acquired at 22 Pequot Trail, Pawcatuck, Connecticut. If any provision of this ordinance or the application thereof to any person or circumstance is held to be invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of any other part of this ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provisions of applications; and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance and the various applications thereof are declared to be severable.
