Jackie's Dairy Bar Inc was founded by Jackie Smith in 1999. Originally just a small ice cream stand on the side of the road, it quickly became a local favorite due to its delicious treats and friendly service.
In 2005, Jackie expanded her business by opening a brick-and-mortar location in the heart of town. Today, Jackie's Dairy Bar Inc is still family-owned and operated, with Jackie's daughter now running the business.
We are open Monday through Friday from 12pm-9pm and Saturday and Sunday from 11am-10pm.

So I thought for a second where the best lobster roll I've ever had was. No question about it! The answer is Jackie's Dairy Bar a few miles from where I grew up. That lobster roll was a monster! Around $20, but still a fantastic roll jammed packed with lobster. It's ridiculous even thinking about it. I'm bummed that this place has closed. It was a bright spot when I was forced to come back to central mass. I loved the Seafood Platters. Or the Daily Meals. *Sigh The place in there now, Athens, is HORRIBLE. I went once and was given a Steak and Cheese with a HUGE block of cold cheese just put on top of the steak. Not melted. It was awful, 2nd try was an order they got totally wrong.
