Tabish, Sr., 93 of Carroll Twp., passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Paramount Senior Living, Manassas, VA. Born in Donora, PA on March 9, 1926, he was a son of the late Joseph and Clara Zabzalka Tabish. He was Catholic by faith and a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish in Donora. A World War II Veteran, Mr. Tabish served with the United States Army H23rd Infantry Division. He received the Combat Infantry Badge, Good Conduct Medal, Army Occupation Medal Germany and Czechoslovakia, American Theater Ribbon, European African Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon and the World War II Victory Ribbon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mary T. (Greco) Tabish; and six siblings, John Tabish, Sammy Tabish, Jay Balent, Laura Dzvonyik, Estelle Trybuski, and Helen Yakimyshin. He is survived by his son, Edward D. (Sue) Tabish, Jr. of Centreville, VA; three grandchildren, Jeffrey, Alan and Mark; three great-grandchildren, Chloe, Lisa and Colin; and one brother, Bernard (Dorthea) Tabish of Carroll Township. Born in Donora, PA to John and Theresa (Erdelyi) Triscik he lived most of his life in Houston, PA. Edward was a caring man who enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, 4-H activities, and automotive repair work. But most of all, Edward was a family-centered man. Edward was very loving and proud of his four children--John, James, Teresa and Kathleen. He was devoted and adoring of his six grandchildren-Allison, Ryan, Matthew, Andrew, Brooke and Kasey.
