(OK, a little fun with the misuse- I make similar mistakes all the time. I do not have any experience with Acheson's boot camp, but I do wish you good luck!) However, I have taken several CE classes from Acheson and I like what they teach and how they teach. I've been told by 1 licensed apprasier and 2 trainees that Acheson Appraisal Company's boot-camp course is excellent, in which, they teach just about everything from start to finish for around $600 including hands-on field inspections with certified guide and after completion of course, you are registered with them as a graduate and referred to other licensed/certified appraisers who wish to employ them. I personally spoke to him this morning and I shall be registering myself to further boost experience/knowledge including taking other specific courses besides the 60 hours credit. This forum is obviously a superior place for all appraisers combined (especially trainees like myself) to gain sufficient knowledge in all aspects of Real Estate and not just appraisals. Heck, this site also has lounges and watercoolers for refreshments.
